The Krämer GP2 890 R starts with the same race-ready components as the HKR plus an upgraded 130hp KTM 890 engine, a superior braking and suspension package.
Frame: The Chromium-Molybdenum steel frame at the core of the Krämer GP2 890 R is responsible for the handling and durability of these motorcycles. This superior material outperforms aluminum and is much less susceptible to cracking or breaking under the stresses of racing. The unique trellis design provides great stiffness, yet flexes where it is needed, and gives the rider unmatched feedback.
Tail section: The tail section of the GP2 890 R is made of XPE plastic and works to support the rider and house 3.17 gallons of fuel. With this multi-use approach reduces weight and makes for a more compact package.
Body work: The fiberglass body work on the GP2 890 R is extremely lightweight, with carbon/kevlar reinforcement. And by replacing the traditional gas tank with the airbox, the bike’s overall weight reduced, weight distribution is improved and the center of gravity is optimal for the track.
